Zadar Airport (IATA: ZAD, ICAO: LDZD) is an international airport serving Zadar, Croatia. It is located in Zemunik Donji, 8 km (5 mi) from the center of Zadar city. Zadar airport has a long history dating from 1936. Zadar airport today is predominantly seasonal airport during summer months with higher volume of traffic while during the rest of the year traffic volume is quite low making it ideal for flight training. Zadar airport is also a home of Croatian Air Force military pilot training center which is separated from civilian side of the airport.
Zadar airport has a separate general aviation ramp access allowing simplified security procedures for student pilots and also students will have quick access at the airport terminal to the restaurant,coffee shop/bar ,rent a car options, ATMs and currency exchange office.
